This this is where I am supposed to tell you a little about myself to pique your interest and arouse your curiosity so that you will want to read what I write and drink from the fountain of my infinite wit and wisdom.

My name is Teri. I’m a middle aged woman who has lived a life of ups and downs.  I’ve  been defeated and I have conquered. Doesn’t that sound interesting? Intriguing?  Wait, I promise there’s more…..we’ll get to that.

Why jump on the blog bandwagon now?

Mark Twain said: “write for no pay until you find someone who will pay you to write.”

I’m a dreamer, right? (Hint: see the title of my blog….)

Part of the dream is the hope that someone, somewhere will stumble across my words and say “Give that girl a publishing deal!”  🙂

In the meantime, I will blog because there are words that won’t sit still in my heart and my mind and my spirit until I put them down on paper.  And I have an overwhelming sense of having to share them.

Freshman year in college, a professor handed me back the last paper I wrote for his class, he spoke the words he had written across the top of my paper: “If you don’t write, you will miss your calling.”

My 50th birthday has come and gone. It’s now or never.

So, it’s now!

I’m taking a chance. I have 30+ years of catching up to do!

If you’d like, I’d love for you to join me on the journey. I am not a theologian, I am simply a pen in the hand of a ready writer. Eagerly willing to share what He has graciously taught and shared with me.

My prayer is that my words will encourage and inspire you to dig a little deeper into yourself, your faith and your dreams.

      1. I want to go on this journey with you. Count me in. I may even pick up my blogging pen and follow your example!
