What’s in a name?

Authentic dreamer.

Seems almost like an oxymoron.

Authentic is real, it’s genuine, true and accurate.

A dreamer is a person whose ideas and plans are not practical, not based in reality; one who lives in a world of fancy and imagination.

But for those of us who are in Christ, our dreams, ideas and plans don’t need to be based in reality….not worldly reality!

The reality of the spiritual realm is not hindered or limited by natural realities.

Within the Kingdom, practicality is a non-issue!  Supernatural super cedes all things natural.

Authentic, by definition is real, genuine, true and accurate………sound like Anyone you know?

Another definition of authentic: made to be or look just like an original.

Are we not created in the image of God?

Are we not made new by Him to be and to look just like Him?

What is He like?  Bound by practicality or natural reality?  (Hint: nope!)

His dreams are bigger than we can hope or think or imagine! (I don’t know about you, but I have a pretty active imagination and I can imagine BIG!)

My authentic dreams are the ones which follow His dreams for me. They look like His. They copy His. They are not guided by my own heart, which is deceitful.

He has placed deep within me, within you, dreams, desires, passions, longings–all for a purpose. A divine purpose. A destiny. A hand picked destiny just for me. And one just for you!

Dream big……He is a big God!
